Best Halloween movies on Netflix UK in 2021

There is no proper Halloween watch list without the Halloween movies! Fortunately, according to New On Netflix UK, there are multiple installments from the franchise available to stream on Netflix UK. These include the original from 1978, as well as Halloween 2 (1981), Halloween 3: Season of the Witch (1982), Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988), and Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989).

This wonderful franchise is returning this month with a new movie, Halloween Kills, so you’d better brush up on the story of Michael Myers and watch as many of the entries as you can this spooky season!

Dawn of the Dead

As a remake of the George A. Romero film of the same name from 1978, Dawn of the Dead (2004) definitely holds its own as a solid movie worth checking out. It’s directed by Zack Snyder, who people either love or hate, and in my opinion, it’s a must-see for fans of the zombie sub-genre.

Dawn of the Dead features a few really great scenes and awesome action throughout, so we’d recommend it for your Halloween queue. Plus, it’s got familiar faces in the cast such as Ving Rhames, Mekhi Phifer, Sarah Polley, Ty Burrell, and more. I’m due for a rewatch of this one!

It’s been reported that Dawn of the Dead was added to Netflix UK on Oct. 1.

Sinister

Sinister is without a doubt one of the creepiest movies to come out in the last decade, hands down. The 2012 horror movie stars Ethan Hawke and was directed by Scott Derrickson. The story itself is a bit unsettling but the scariest part about this movie is the frightening imagery as an author watches back tapes of murders that happened in his home.

Reportedly, both Sinister and Sinister 2 are available to stream on Netflix UK, however the sequel pales in comparison to the original. If you’re looking to get scared this Halloween, definitely check this one out!
