A new week is here and not only does it bring the beginning of October (how??), it also brings a ton of new movies and shows to Netflix. Everything from a new kids’ show to a new thriller starring Jake Gyllenhaal to a new Netflix Original drama limited series, there is a little bit of something for everyone this week.

Ready for a new animated show for your kids (or let’s be honest, all of us)? Ada Twist, Scientist is coming to Netflix on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021. The show is based on the popular kids’ book of the same name and features the voices of Amanda Christine, Tay Diggs, and Susan Kelechi Watson.

The show follows young Ada Twist, a scientist who is exploring how to help people using scientific discovery, friendship, and working together.
