Is Ghostbusters on Netflix for Halloween 2021?

Netflix subscribers looking for something fun to watch this year to get in the spirit of Halloween are most assuredly wondering if the horror-comedy classic Ghostbusters is available to stream.

Ghosts are no joke, and if a person comes across one, they know exactly who to call to take care of any poltergeist problems one may be having. The ragtag team of spirit catcher’s that became synonymous with the saying, “Who you gonna call?,” is a must-see endeavor for anyone not having seen it before and a worthwhile ordeal to revisit as an annual tradition on Halloween.

Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Harold Ramis brought the titular team to life when they threw on the signature jumpsuits, strapped on some Proton Packs, and hopped in the Ectomobile to takedown Slimer, the State Puff Marshmellow Man, and many more ghoulish things. The Academy Award-nominated movie tells the wickedly funny story with tons of chills about how three ex-parapsychology professors started the infamous ghost removal agency.

The magnificent franchise has certainly stood the test of time, becoming a multibillion-dollar property over the years, spawning cartoons, video games, merchandise, spinoffs, and sequels. And it’s really not surprising at all to learn subscribers to the streaming service Netflix would like to know if they can enjoy it this year to get into the Halloween spirit.

Is Ghostbusters on Netflix?

Unfortunately, Netflix subscribers cannot call the Ghostbusters because the classic film is not available on the streaming service. But there are absolutely plenty of other excellent titles to enjoy this Halloween season.
