The first two episodes of Midnight Mass, the new Netflix original series, will be released early!

Creator Mike Flanagan and producer Trevor Macy announced the first two episodes will be released early as a special thank you to the fans.

Netflix almost never releases shows or movies early, so this is incredible! Unfortunately, there’s a little bit of a catch.

When is the Midnight Mass premiere?

Netflix confirmed that the first two episodes of Midnight Mass will be released via a special virtual premiere event on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, at 5:30 p.m. PT/8:30 p.m. ET.

So, things started to get weird early on Sunday, Sept. 19. The Midnight Mass Twitter account asked fans to tune in at midnight (12:00 a.m ET/9:00 p.m. PT) for a surprise. Then, the creator, Mike Flanagan, started playing along, and he was joined by cast members dropping teasers for something coming tonight.

Well, as it turned out, it’s the first two episodes of Midnight Mass, and you can watch them on Wednesday, Sept. 22.

The kicker is that you have to be one of the first 1,500 fans to RSVP! So, please RSVP right here if you would like to attend!

We shared the announcement below!

Midnight Mass stars Zach Gilford, Kate Siegel, Hamish Linklater, Kristin Lehman, Samantha Sloyan, Igby Rigney, Rahul Kohli, Annabeth Gish, Rahul Abburi, Henry Thomas, and more.

When is the rest of Midnight Mass coming to Netflix?

Unless Netflix has more surprises up its sleeve, Midnight Mass is coming to Netflix on Friday, Sept. 24. That’s the day that was announced as the release date months ago, and I can’t imagine Netflix will drop any more episodes before Friday.

This is so cool for fans! I can’t wait for everyone to get a look at the new series, so drop what you’re doing and go watch Midnight Mass on Wednesday!

What time is Midnight Mass on Netflix?

Again, Netflix could have something else planned for Midnight Mass, but we’re expecting Netflix to release Midnight Mass at the time it drops most new shows and movies (12:01 a.m. PT). Obviously, that’s 3:01 a.m. ET. So, it’s much more difficult for fans on the East Coast to stay up late and start binge-watching.

This might be the series to do that for if it’s anything like The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor. Midnight Mass is definitely one of the best Netflix shows coming in 2021.
