Kenya Barris’s long-running series Black-ish is once again in Emmy contention, and, of course, many subscribers on Netflix are more than curious to learn if the TV show is available to watch on the popular streamer.

For seven excellent seasons, Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross have entertained home audiences with their exceptional series covering impactful personal and sociopolitical issues. The story is great, and the people bringing it to life are even more so, including Yara Shahidi, Marcus Scribner, Miles Brown, Marsai Martin, Jeff Meacham, Jenifer Lewis, Deon Cole, Peter Mackenzie, and Laurence Fishburne.

Ever since the show began back on September 24, 2014, the show had been praised by critics, and several significant nominations, including a Golden Globes win for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for Tracee Ellis Ross. In addition, Black-ish has spawned several spinoffs concluding Grown-ish and Mixed-ish.

At the 2021 Emmy awards ceremony, Black-ish will be competing for several honors, including Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, and the coveted Oustanding Comedy series.

Is Black-ish on Netflix?

Unfortunately, out of all the award-winning critically acclaimed choices available for Netflix subscribers, Black-ish is not an option on the streaming service. While this news is anything but ideal, it is wise to recall that there are many other engaging titles to experience on the streamer.

Other shows fans will enjoy include Arrested Development, Dear White People, Kim’s Convenience, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and Master of None.

However, if Emmy-nominated endeavors are on the agenda, subscribers should look at Emily in Paris, Cobra Kai, and The Kominsky Method, who are all up for awards at the 73rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.

Where to stream Black-ish

Black-ish is available to stream on Hulu. In addition, it is also available on the ABC website and app. Episodes are also available via VOD services such as Apple TV, Amazon Video, Google Play, Vudu, and YouTube.
