Sex Education has to be one of the best Netflix original series to have ever been created. The show tackles such huge and important conversations about sexual health in a way that makes it easy for its viewers to understand but also makes them feel very normal for the issues that they may also run into as human beings.

It’s a show that everyone truly adores and with Sex Education season 3 releasing on Sept. 17, the series is sure to only make people fall even more in love with this title.

Season 3 is said to go the extra mile, pushing the envelope of what we expect this show to deliver. With a tease like that, you probably are wondering what path this series is taking this upcoming season.

Sex Education season 3 synopsis

It goes without saying that Sex Education season 3 follows the events that took place in the sophomore season. From Otis’ voicemail being deleted from Maeve’s phone to Aimee still dealing with the trauma that came from her assault and, of course, to Adam and Eric being an official item, these events and the aftermath of these events should be what the third season will be all about in terms of the stories of the characters that we know and love.

In regards to what new drama you can expect, the official trailer has shown us that there’s a new Headmaster in town that seeks to change the narrative of Moordale from a “sex school” to a school where students thrive off of being abstinent and “normal”. Our kids aren’t going down without a fight, but they may have bitten off more than they can chew with this ruthless new authority. Oh, and did we mention that there was a baby on the way?!
