Lucifer season 6 spoilers: Does Ella learn the truth about Lucifer?

There were a number of questions on the minds of Lucifer fans as we looked ahead to Lucifer season 6, the final season in what has been one of the biggest shows on Netflix.

Following the season 5 finale, the biggest question on the minds of fans was, of course, what exactly would be next for Lucifer. Had he truly become God? If so, what does this mean for his relationship with Chloe and those closest to him in life? Would Chloe and Lucifer finally take their relationship to the next step and what could his new role mean for their future?

Then there were the questions of what exactly the final season would have in store for the show’s many other incredible characters including one Ella Lopez.

While fans were eager to know what the final season would hold for Ella — particularly whether she’d hit it off with Carol Corbett — one of the biggest lingering questions on the minds of fans was whether Ella would finally learn the truth about Lucifer before the show’s swan song.

Heading into the final season, Ella was the only member of the core cast not in the know when it comes to Lucifer’s true identity, but did that change within the final season

When does Ella learn the truth about Lucifer?

While Ella has been the one character left in the dark regarding the truth about Lucifer over the years, that all changed in Lucifer season 6 when Ella finally learns the truth about Lucifer’s true identity.

There were hints that Ella was starting to put the pieces together, but it was in Lucifer season 6, episode 5 that we discovered how close Ella was to putting things together when we saw her secret evidence board.

After theorizing and putting the puzzle together, Ella finally confronted everyone at Maze and Eve’s wedding in episode 7 with a little help from liquid courage. Having had a few drinks too many, Ella finally explodes and reveals that she’s put the pieces together and knows the truth leading to an epic confrontation.

Confronted by Ella’s discovery, Lucifer and company officially come clean in revealing the truth to Ella officially clueing her in on everything and allowing her to be in the know before the series finally came to a close.
