Best Netflix movies: He’s All That

Release Year: 2021

Directed by Mark Waters

Starring Addison Rae, Tanner Buchanan, Madison Pettis, Rachael Leigh Cook, Peyton Meyer, Myra Molloy, Isabella Crovetti, Annie Jacob, and Kourtney Kardashian

He’s All That premiered on Netflix on Friday, August 27, 2021. It’s been the biggest Netflix movie of August, so you know we had to include the movie on the list.

Is He’s All That good? Well, it’s up to the viewers. Based on how many people are watching this movie, the audience clearly finds something redeeming about this new Netflix movie.

For those who don’t know, He’s All That is a sequel/reboot of sorts of She’s All That, which premiered in 1999 and starred Rachel Leigh Cook, Freddie Prinze Jr., Matthew Lillard, and more. In the movie, Rachel Leigh Cook’s character gets a makeover from Freddie Prinze Jr.’s character so he can win a bet.

The premise is very similar in He’s All That, except it’s Addison Rae’s character, Padgett, doing the makeover on Tanner Buchanan’s character, Cameron, and Rachel Leigh Cook plays Addison Rae’s mom.

There are already some rumors that He’s All That 2 with Addison Rae and Tanner Buchanan is in the works. We’ll let you know if we hear more about a possible sequel to the popular Netflix movie.
