The Defeated cast: Who stars in the new Netflix show?

Originally titled Shadowplay and later renamed The Defeated, was released on Netflix on Aug. 18 and is currently on the Netflix Top 10 list. This isn’t really surprising because the TV series has an interesting plot and a great ensemble cast.

The Defeated takes place in 1946 and is about an American cop, Max McLaughlin, who arrives in Berlin post-WWII to assist in creating a police force with a policewoman, Elsie Garten. As the series goes on, we find out that Max has his own reasons for coming to Berlin, and we get to see how his personal motives mix with helping out Elise.

The drama series wouldn’t be holding the No.10 spot on Netflix’s top 10 list if it wasn’t for the incredibly skilled cast. If you want to know what actor portrays what character in The Defeated, we let you know below.

We may not be familiar with all of the German actors in this series, but we definitely need to keep an eye out for them because they played their parts so well.
