Zack and Miri Make a Porno is one of the funniest, most ridiculous movies currently streaming on Netflix. With that said, it’s also a romance. What else could you need?

The movie stars comedian Seth Rogen as Zack, a coffee shop worker who’s struggling to make ends meet and pay the bills. His best friend and roommate is Miri (Elizabeth Banks), who also doesn’t have much money and is desperate to figure out her life.

After Zack and Miri attend their high school reunion and meet a porn star, they decide to try their hand at making a porno and hopefully get rich. With limited money, resources, and time, the two best friends face some difficulties in getting their movie made, but it’s hilarious along the way. And things get complicated once Zack and Miri realize they don’t want the other to have sex with anyone else on camera, in turn discovering they have romantic feelings for one another.

The movie premiered in theaters on October 31, 2008 and is still pretty underrated. It’s certainly a bit raunchy and is rated R for good reason, but if you’re looking for a wacky comedy with a heart to it, you should check out Zack and Miri Make a Porno.
