After is based on a book of the same name written by Anna Todd. Technically, After is a new adult movie, so if you’re looking for a young adult movie, you might want to steer clear of this one. It’s a little more mature than that. The movie was released in theaters in 2019. Jenny Gage directed the movie.

The romance movie tells the story of Tessa Young, a young woman in her first year of college. When she meets Hardin, played by Hero Fiennes Tiffin, her world starts to change and she starts to discover what she really wants in life.

If you like the movie, you should check out the book. There was a sequel, After We Collided, that was released in 2020. The third film, After We Fell, is expected to debut in 2021. I always like to read the books after watching movies and maybe you will, too.
