Netflix romance movies: A Christmas Prince

A Christmas Prince was the first popular and successful Netflix Christmas movie. The movie premiered during the holiday season in 2017. To date, it’s one of the most popular Netflix movies so far.

It tells the story of Amber, played by Rose McIver, who is a journalist. She travels to Aldovia to cover the coronation of Prince Richard, played by Ben Lamb. There, Amber starts to get close to the prince while working on the story, but everything isn’t quite as straightforward it seems.

A Christmas Prince was so successful that Netflix made two sequels. A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding premiered a year later in 2018, and A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby premiered on Netflix in 2019.

It doesn’t sound like we’re getting another movie set in the world of A Christmas Prince, but I’m sure fans want to see another movie. We’ll just have to wait and see!

There’s no new Christmas Prince movie coming to Netflix this year, unfortunately.
