When We First Met was one of the first successful Netflix romantic comedies. Workaholics and Pitch Perfect star Adam Devine stars in the movie as Noah, a young man who falls in love with a friend, Avery, played by Alexandra Daddario, who is engaged.

One morning, Noah finds himself three years in the past reliving the same day that he and Avery met at a Halloween party. Noah does what he can to change the version of events in his favor.

If you like movies like Palm Springs or Groundhog Day or Russian Doll, you’re going to like this movie. This is a little bit lower stakes than those movies, but that “Groundhog Day” plot is present in all the movies.

I know this movie didn’t get great reviews, but I think you’ll like it. The movie has a great cast and many recognizable actors, like Devine, Daddario from The Percy Jackson movies and True Detective, Shelley Hennig from Teen Wolf, and Andrew Bachelor and Robbie Amell from The Babysitter and other popular movies and shows.
