What is Hit and Run on Netflix about?

Hit and Run releases on Netflix on Aug. 6, and we’re counting down the days. There are only two days left until its premiere, but it seems like time is moving slowly! But it’s okay because we know this wait will all be worth it in the end.

We’ve been waiting for a new Netflix action-thriller original series to drop on Netflix, and it looks like Hit and Run will answer our prayers! This season will consist of nine hour-long episodes, so you may want to prepare your body for this release.

However, I think you’ll be fine because after watching the trailer for Hit and Run, I can tell that there will never be a dull moment in the series.

Now that I’ve piqued your interest, I should probably tell you what this hair-raising thriller is about. Scratch that. I will tell you what Hit and Run is about below.

Hit and Run synopsis

The synopsis via Netflix is below:

"In this new action thriller, the life of a happily married man (Lior Raz) is turned upside down when his wife is killed in a mysterious hit and run accident in Tel Aviv. Grief-stricken and confused, he searches for his wife’s killers. With the help of an ex-lover (Sanaa Lathan), he uncovers disturbing truths about his beloved wife and the secrets she kept from him."

Segev’s cousin, Tali, and his old army friend, Ron, will also join him on his mission to take down his wife’s killers. I wonder what secrets his wife was keeping from him and can he really trust his ex-lover to help him with his goal?

This is a series, so my guess is that everything won’t be figured out this season. Or, if the show is renewed for a second season, fingers crossed, it’ll be about something else. Maybe Segev captures and kills his wife’s killers, but is sent to jail for it, or maybe he ends up being framed for her murder.

These, of course, are all predictions, and this season may go a totally different way. I guess we won’t know what happens until we watch Hit and Run on Aug. 6 on Netflix!
