Zola offers up an intriguing story of a stripper’s wild road trip, and many Netflix subscribers are undoubtedly curious to know if the movie is one of the many exemplary titles available on the streaming service.

The film Zola is based on a Twitter thread by a woman named Aziah “Zola” King. The thread was then turned into a Rolling Stone article, Zola Tells All: The Real Story Behind the Greatest Stripper Saga Ever Tweeted, which was written by David Kushner. After its world premiere at Sundance, the well-crafted movie has received significant critical acclaim, as well as becoming Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.

The motion picture is helmed by Them director Janicza Bravo and written by Bravo and Jeremy O. Harris. Starring in the black comedy from A24 is Taylour Paige, Riley Keough, Nicholas Braun, Ari’el Stachel, and Colman Domingo.

There are undoubtedly plenty of reasons to want to see Zola, given its tantalizing narrative and the very talented individuals found behind and in front of the camera. It is absolutely no wonder why so many would inquire as to whether or not the streamer has it within its library.

Is Zola on Netflix?

There are undoubtedly a lot of people that want to watch Zola on Netflix, and the news is not going to be ideal for those that had their heart set on that happening. Unfortunately, Zola is not one of the many features the streaming service has on tap.

While not having Zola in the lineup does seem like a truly epic bummer, it is important to recall that many other great choices remain on the streamer. Death of Stalin, I Care A Lot, The Laundromat, and Uncut Gems are just some of the stellar black comedy movies available on Netflix now.
