Fear Street Part 3: 1666 is coming to Netflix: July 16, 2021

Deena Johnson is on a mission to save her girlfriend from Sarah Fier and the Shadyside curse. To be able to do that, she’s going to have to learn more about the curse and how it all started. That’s what we find out in the third Netflix movie based on the R.L. Stine books.

There isn’t much longer to wait for the movie. Fear Street Part 3: 1666 will be on Netflix on Friday, July 16. It drops at 3:01 a.m. ET, which means you’re only waiting until just after midnight if you’re on the west coast.

It’s the last of the Fear Street movies. At least, for now. We’re hoping that Netflix sees that more of these movies need to come. This should be a regular thing every Friday.

What is Fear Street Part 3: 1666 about?

We got a glimpse of what’s to come in the movie in the trailer at the end of Fear Street Part 2: 1978. Deena is going to witness the events of 1666. In fact, she becomes Sarah Fier for the purpose of the movie.

It’s time to head back to the start of the curse. The colonial town is caught in the middle of a witch hunt, and there are deadly consequences for many involved. This is what starts the curse in Shadyside, which sees Sarah Fier return for more victims time and time again.

At the same time, Deena and the others in 1994 will need to bring an end to this curse. Sam is in grave danger, but is there any hope of saving her? There’s got to be some hope of a happy ending for Deena and Sam, right?
