Netflix is adding 33 new movies and shows this week

A new week is here and that means a ton of new movies and shows are being added to Netflix. There is so much good stuff coming this week! Whether you’re looking for women assassins (who isn’t?), a new season of a popular Netflix original, or the final movie in the Fear Street trilogy, Netflix has something for everyone.

Assassin time! Gunpowder Milkshake is coming to Netflix on Wednesday, July 14. It follows Sam, the daughter of a famous hitwoman who was forced to abandon her child and go on the run. Now, Sam has grown up to be a hitwoman herself but she’s in trouble and must go back to her mother and her former sidekicks. They must join forces to take back everything they once lost.

The film has a ridiculously good cast including Karen Gillan, Carla Gugino, Lena Heady, Michelle Yeoh, Freya Allen, Paul Giamatti, and Angela Bassett. I cannot wait for this movie!

Season 2 of Never Have I Ever is also coming this week. It hits Netflix on Thursday, July 15. The show follows Devi, an Indian-American teen as she tries to navigate school, home life, friendships, and romance. And this season, she has to decide between two boys…or does she?

The Mindy Kaling-created series stars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Darren Barnet, Poorna Jagannathan, Aitana Rinab Perez, and Richa Moorjani.

This week also brings the final film in the Fear Street trilogy. Fear Street Part 3: 1666 comes to Netflix on Friday, July 16. In this final film, we learn everything about the origins of the Sarah Fier curse on Shadyside. As the story comes to a close, events occur that will change the lives of the people of Shadyside forever.

This week also brings all five films in the Twilight series and Naomi Osaka, a docu-series on the famous tennis player. Both hit the streaming service on Friday, July 16
