It’s kind of wild how little we know about Outer Banks season 2 when the season is only one month away at the time of publishing. The season 2 episode titles should give fans a few clues about what’s going to happen in Outer Banks season 2.

There are 10 episodes in Outer Banks season 2! I think we knew this already, but it’s always good to get confirmation, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic when we’re seeing episode counts for seasons get cut.

The first season also consists of 10 episodes, so it’s good to see Netflix being consistent, although if it were a 30-episode season I’d be much more excited than I am now.

What do the Outer Banks season 2 episode titles mean?

Spoilers for Outer Banks season 1 ahead!

Well, the first two episodes, “The Gold” and “The Heist,” will certainly revolve around John B. and Sarah trying to get back all that gold that Ward, Sarah’s father, stole in season 1.

“Homecoming,” the fourth episode of the season, will likely mark the return of John B. and Sarah to Outer Banks. Remember, everyone thinks they are dead! That moment when John B. and Sarah reunite with JJ, Pope, and Kie is going to be AMAZING.

After that, it gets too difficult to predict where the season is going. Obviously, there is a war that must be fought by Ward and the Kooks and the Pogues. How that ends will likely shape the course of the season.

In other words, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens in Outer Banks season 2 at the end of July.
