New Netflix Movies: A Castle for Christmas

A Castle for Christmas is a new Netflix original romantic Christmas movie starring Brooke Shields and Cary Elwes, who appeared in Stranger Things season 3 as Mayor Larry Kline.

In the new Christmas movie, Shields plays Sophie, a famous writer who wants to buy a castle in Scotland, but the Duke, played by Elwes, isn’t so down with letting that happen, according to Netflix. That’s the perfect premise for a great romantic movie on Netflix!

A Castle for Christmas doesn’t have a release date yet, but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out when this movie is coming to Netflix. A Castle for Christmas will certainly be a holiday release in 2021. Expect to see this movie around Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I have a feeling Netflix will be releasing this movie a little earlier than you might think. Christmas movie fans start watching Christmas movies in October, so we could see this new Netflix movie around that time. We’ll be sure to share the official date when we find out what Netflix has planned for A Castle at Christmas.
