Where to watch In the Dark season 3

Finally, Murphy and her best friends, er, partners is crime are back in In the Dark season 3, and their good run of bad luck looks worse than ever. Although the crime dramedy has found success on The CW, it hasn’t yet crossed over into a hit on Netflix. Could that soon change?

We sure hope so, because just like Good Girls and Riverdale, the underrated darling offers some of the best twisty binge-watching on Netflix. In season 3, In the Dark picks up in the aftermath of Murphy (Perry Mattfeld), Jess (Brooke Markham), Felix (Morgan Krantz) and Max’s (Casey Deidrick) fateful run-in with dangerous drug lord Nia Bailey (Nicki Micheaux).

If you haven’t yet started watching In the Dark season 3, or the series in general, Murphy, who’s blind, accidentally ropes her closest friends and co-workers into a world of crime in the pursuit to solve the mystery surrounding a friend’s death. Before long, they’re on the run in season 3.

Is In the Dark season 3 on Netflix?

Unfortunately, as of June 2021, the third season of In the Dark is not available on Netflix. But that’s not necessarily bad news. While you can’t watch it on Netflix now, the new episodes will arrive after their run on The CW, which only just began on June 23.

Where to watch In the Dark season 3

Being so, the main place to check out the latest episodes of In the Dark in real time is Wednesdays at 9/8c on The CW. Also, new season 3 episodes are available to watch on The CW’s website and app the following day of their television airing.

In the Dark season 3 Netflix release date

Here’s where things get trickier. While we don’t know the exact release date for season 3 on Netflix, we do know that it won’t be in July 2021. The season will span 13 episodes (if history repeats itself), which puts it on pace to run through the summer into early fall.

That would bring season 3’s finale sometime in September and the Netflix release date one week after the season finale. Of course, things can always change with scheduling, but we’re looking at the next season hitting Netflix before The CW’s fall season begins.
