It may be a teen rom-com, but The Kissing Booth and its sequel are so much fun. And one of the reasons that this movie series is so cute is because of both Joey King, who plays Elle, and Jacob Elordi, who plays Noah. And while we love Joey King, in this slideshow, it is all about Jacob Elordi and what he brings to the table.

In the first movie in the series when we first meet Noah, he is a senior getting ready to graduate from high school. And he finds himself falling for the one person he shouldn’t — his younger brother’s best friend.

Over the course of the year, these two make a connection that is hard to ignore. Even with the ups and downs of their relationship (from being a secret fling, to really admitting how they feel about each other), we get to see Noah prove that he can be romantic and a bad boy. He is loyal and loving, while also making mistakes and proving that just because he messes up, that doesn’t mean he can’t find a way to fix what he’s broken.

There is something about Elordi’s character that tugs at the heartstrings. And then we have the fact that in real life he has an Australian accent, and we are officially hooked! Jacob Elordi knows how to reel us in and he can do it with a simple gaze that is beyond soulful.
