Kumail Nanjiani from The Lovebirds
When it comes to comedies, Kumail Nanjiani knows how to deliver. Throw in romance and we have more than just a great performance, we have some real heat and passion.
And if you have seen The Lovebirds, then you know that while trouble seems to follow Nanjiani’s character, Jibran, and his wife throughout the movie, we see exactly why he is a great romantic lead. Not only does he has a sense of humor that works, but he also thinks quickly in a bad situation. (Although maybe that quick thinking isn’t exactly the best thing ever.)
But really, there is just something about Kumail Nanjiani that we love. Whether it is his ability to be funny and make us laugh or the fact that he can also bring a level of seriousness to a role that can be much needed. As far as romance goes, there are moments where you just know that he could wine you and dine you and you’d be swept right off your feet.
Honestly, a sense of humor is a must when it comes to dateability factor and Nanjiani has that in spades. The fact that as Jibran he also proves to be able to think on his feet and protect the person he cares about is further proof that he is one worth dating. Even with a rocky start to the relationship that we see in the movie, it actually doesn’t take long to turn things around in a way that seems realistic to the struggles so many of us have in our lives.
