Considering that Virgin River is a romantic drama already, it probably makes sense that one of the men of the series would make our dateability list. It’s perhaps not that shocking, but with Martin Henderson, who plays Jack Sheridan, even if he hadn’t been in a romantic drama — as long as he was in a Netflix series or movie — he would have probably made the list anyway.

There is something about Henderson’s presence on our screen that just screams “date me, I’m yours.” Or something like that.

And as Jack in the series, we get to see a man who served his country and then came home to build a new life and business. Anyone who can run a restaurant/bar has to have grit and determination in general. And then to be wrapped up in a package that is also kind of a mess is fascinating. When I say a mess, I mean this is a guy who has people claiming to be his girlfriend when they are not, babies appearing on his doorstep, and basically a whole host of things that would typically send us screaming into the sunset.

But beyond all that, Jack is more than what he seems. He is really a good guy, even if he has his moments. And there is something about him that just works in terms of being the guy you want to date and take to dinner. It’s a weird thing when you both want to date someone and want to yell at them for their dating habits. Clearly, Martin Henderson does a great job portraying the character and that’s what makes him so dateable.
