Jordan Fisher from Work It and To All the Boys 2
Work It is a dance dramedy that combines music and love to give us a story that is fun and romantic. In fact, the romantic aspect of the movie actually adds a lot to the overall storyline.
However, it is our leading man, Jordan Fisher (who plays Jake Taylor), who really makes this movie fun. Here is a dancer with a beautiful smile and an ability to really connect with people. He is honest and flawed, while also being talented and even funny.
Over the course of Work It, we realize that Jake is a little bit broken by life, but still pushing through every day to show that just because his career path may have changed, that doesn’t mean he can’t still be passionate about what he does.
His passion is compelling and his romantic nature shines through often enough that we would have no problem taking him on a date. Whether that date includes dinner and dancing or something a bit more original, it is clear that he has what it takes to be a solid partner.
And bonus! Fisher also appears in the second To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before movie, To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, as the fan-favorite character John Ambrose. Now we just need more of Jordan Fisher on our screens. Bring on the Netflix rom-coms!
