Wolfgang Novogratz from The Last Summer

In The Last Summer, we meet a group of high school students about to embark on what they consider to be their last summer, and perhaps it is, since some of them may never see each other again as they move on with their lives. And one of the characters we meet is Foster, played by Wolfgang Novogratz.

This is not the first time we met Novogratz, as he has previously been a part of Netflix offerings such as Sierra Burgess is a Loser and even Feel the Beat. In all three of these Netflix movies, Novogratz has shown us different sides of himself, but perhaps the most fascinating is the one he played in The Last Summer.

As Foster, Wolfgang Novogratz gives us a character who shows us someone we would never want to date, thanks to a list of people he wants to sleep with (and of course that list goes viral). But when you really get to know Foster, you realize that he isn’t actually being sleazy. Instead, he is a virgin trying to grasp at the last moments of being a high school student.

Over the course of his time in school, he wasn’t all about being with a girl, but instead, it was about getting through school and doing the things he needed to do. He was being responsible, and while his methods in the end were less than stellar, that doesn’t take away from who he is as a person and a friend.

Knowing what goes into a person’s decisions (especially the bad ones) can really change the way you look at them and their actions. Novogratz is totally dateable because of his portrayal of Foster.
