What’s next for Guzmán in Elite season 5?

If you have a lot of burning questions for Elite season 5 after watching season 4, trust us, we’re definitely right behind you!

After such a headbanger of a season full of multiple new characters, ridiculous school rules and a ton of hooking up, it would be easier to ask what didn’t happen in the fourth season. As if these crazy moments weren’t enough, we were also hit with the presumed exit of not one but two major characters! (Brb, going to go cry.)

We’re here to tell you if one of those two characters in question will be returning to Elite season 5 or if their last farewell on the show was a final somber goodbye to fans.

Is Guzmán going to be in Elite season 5?

Based on where we last saw Guzmán in the final episode of Elite season 4, it wouldn’t be too outrageous to believe that the Las Encinas student would not be returning in the fifth season. After all, the consequences that come with killing someone with a flare-gun and then dumping their body at the bottom of a lake aren’t exactly something that Guzmán would stick around to see.

In addition to this, his plan of fleeing the premises with his pal Ander seemed to be in full motion in the final episode, especially with Guzmán saying his final goodbye to his accomplices, I mean, buddies. Even still, there is a lack of concrete evidence plot-wise that points to Guzmán not returning to the Netflix original series‘ fifth season.

What’s more, there are rumors flying around that point to a sighting of1899 star Miguel Bernardeau (Guzmán Nunier) on the set of the series‘ fifth season. While these rumors have yet to be proven true, it does help momentarily put fans’ minds at ease regarding Guzmán’s fate. Hopefully, the sightings were true.

As you can see, we are staying fairly optimistic believing that the Las Encinas student will return to finish his last year at the high school, but there is always a chance that season 4 was the last we’ll ever see of this Elite OG, especially with other OGs like Lucrecia and Carla also eventually departing from the show.
