What is Fatherhood about?

Fatherhood, starring American comedian Kevin Hart, is coming to Netflix this week and it’s a movie that is sure to be a tear-jerker. Hart takes on a deep and moving role that we’ve never seen him in before, and we can’t wait to see how he brings this character to life.

What is Fatherhood about?

Being a parent is hard, but imagine how hard it is to be a parent raising your first child all on your own. That’s what Matt (played by Hart) is going through as he struggles with being a single father after the loss of his wife.

It certainly takes a village to raise a child, and he’s going to need all the help that he can get. From learning how to style her hair to being there for his kid through her many bumps and bruises, Matt learns how to be the best father he can be for his baby girl. But, as any parent would agree, it’s definitely not easy.

The cast of Fatherhood features an amazing line-up of talented performers, including Get Out actor Lil Rel Howery as Jordan, Alfre Woodard as Marian, Melody Hurd as Maddy, DeWanda Wise as Lizzie, Paul Reiser as Paul, and of course Kevin Hart as Matt.
