Virgin River season 3 trailer finds Mel and Jack at a crossroads

Are you ready for more Virgin River? After the second season left us hanging last fall with a number of cliffhangers, it’s almost time to travel back to the quaint small town for more romance, drama and heartwarming stories with Virgin River season 3 on Netflix.

Last season, Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack’s (Martin Henderson) budding relationship was further complicated by a gunshot, while Hope (Annette O’Toole) and Doc’s (Tim Matheson) own reconciliation reached a snag with the gruff doctor’s secret health setbacks.

Of course, there’s plenty more twists and turns coming in Virgin River season 3 for our favorite characters, including new faces coming to town to stir the pot. Netflix finally shared the trailer for the upcoming episodes, and it’s safe to say season 3 will be the best season yet.

Who’s fate was revealed in the Virgin River season 3 trailer, and which couple is talking babies? From fires to fights and all the explosive drama in between, we’re breaking down what’s going on the first-look clip of the new season.

Virgin River season 3 trailer

In the trailer for season 3, Jack’s fate was immediately revealed — as if we had any reservations about him surviving the shooting at the end of season 2. Things soon heat up between Mel and Jack following his scare, though their blossoming romance hits a fork in the road when the topic of their future, and the possibility of starting a family, finds them on different pages.

Meanwhile, Doc grapples with his health struggles as Preacher (Colin Lawrence) worries about taking care of Paige’s young son. The trailer also hints at a house fire for Mel and Jack and a heated scuffle between Jack and (possibly) his shooter. It’s going to be a jam-packed season!
