Netflix is no stranger to releasing some new exciting anime each month. And, we’ve got some really good anime on the way in June 2021.

These are Netflix original anime series and films that’ll keep you entertained throughout next month, and we’re here to fill you in on what you’ve got coming your way.

From fighting off blood-sucking zombies to saving your best friend from purgatory, here are the five best anime coming to Netflix in June 2021.

Let’s get the list started with the new Sailor Moon movie!

1. Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie Part 1 & 2

Release Date: June 3

You’re going to have some major nostalgia as Sailor Moon returns with not just one, but two films featuring our favorite sailor guardians and their fight to save Earth once more.

The enemies use terrifying imagery to infiltrate the minds of the guardians and distract them from the impending darkness cast out to fill the world. Succumbing to these nightmares will take resilience, wit, and teamwork, all things that this group of celestial girls embodies.

Can they defeat the enemy on time or will they be defeated in the battle for their minds?

We shared the official synopsis below, via Netflix:

"When a dark power enshrouds the Earth after a total solar eclipse, the scattered Sailor Guardians must reunite to bring light back into the world."

2. Trese

Release Date: June 10

Trese tells the story of a woman named Alexandra Trese (Shay Mitchell) who serves as the middle person between humanity and the evil dark forces that lurk in the underworld.

In this new age, supernatural beings are hungry for human blood and will stop at nothing to satiate their hunger. Can Alexandra rise to the occasion to become the powerful force to save human lives or will she buckle under the weight of responsibility needed to reason with the underworld?

We shared the official synopsis below, via Netflix:

"In Manila, where dark supernatural forces pervade the criminal underworld, it’s up to Alexandra Trese to keep the peace — but there’s a storm brewing."
