Critical acclaim quickly arrived, though the film holds an 83% score on Rotten Tomatoes, which denoted mostly positive reviews. Mank received the most nominations at the Academy Awards with 10, including Best Picture and Best Director, but ultimately won for Best Cinematography and Best Production Design.
