Lucifer season 5 part 2, episode 13 recap: Guess who’s back?

After shining the light on Dan Espinoza, Lucifer season 5 part 2, episode 13, titled “A Little Harmless Stalking,” focuses on Dr. Linda Martin. But the episode also features the return of a fan favorite! Spoilers ahead.

You didn’t think Lucifer was going to leave us hanging on the fate of Linda’s daughter, did you? As it turns out, Linda didn’t forget about her daughter after Maze made the introduction.

Linda wasn’t ready to make herself known to Adriana, but she also wasn’t about to lose touch. So, naturally, Linda does a little harmless stalking.

“A Little Harmless Stalking” also features Lucifer and Amenadiel trying to process their dad’s retirement announcement. Lucifer says it’s simple, the next person after God should be Amenadiel. No question about it. But his older brother isn’t so sure, being God is a big responsibility. Even for Amenadiel.

However, the biggest event that happens in Lucifer season 5 part 2, episode 13, is the return of Eve (Inbar Lavi)! But her reconciliation with Maze doesn’t go how we would have wished.

I’ve been waiting for a reconnection between Adriana and Linda, and this was the perfect storyline to go with. It shows Linda’s motherly, unconditional love for her child. Despite not having raised her or even knowing Adriana’s whereabouts until recently, Linda proves she’d do anything to protect her daughter.

As sweet as that was though, my favorite reunion in the episode was between Eve and Maze. Well, bittersweet, I should say.

Does Eve return in Lucifer season 5 part 2?

Eve is back and ready to commit. But Maze was truly hurt when Eve left her, so Maze, understandably, isn’t ready to jump into things just yet.

When Eve gets hurt while on a case with Maze, Maze finally admits that she’s never felt so afraid before. Maze realizes just how much she cares about Eve. The two share a kiss, but Maze then offers Eve a “family heirloom,” which we know as her mother’s ring that gives its wearer immortality.

Maze explains that she never wants to feel this afraid again, the idea of losing Eve is something she could never stand. Eve, however, tells Maze that she doesn’t want to live forever, she sees mortality as a gift that makes you appreciate life.

Maze gives Eve an ultimatum: if Eve doesn’t wear the ring, they can’t be together. Eve stands by her decision, though, and tries to change Maze’s mind. But Maze won’t budge, either.
