In June, the circus is coming to Netflix, but it’s the stuff of nightmares, not fun, as Usagi Tsukino and her friends are about to encounter yet another enemy bent on plunging the Earth into darkness. Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal: The Movie will take viewers through an anime adaptation of the original manga’s Dream Arc.

The Dead Moon Circus’ arrival in town is a precursor to events that will try the Sailor Guardians as they work to stop the troupe from taking over the planet. If Earth falls prey to the Lemures the circus unleashes then so shall the moon and the rest of the universe.

What was supposed to be a celebration of the largest total solar eclipse of the century soon becomes a fight to survive. But, the Sailor Guardians will have the help of a new ally on their side as Pegasus makes his debut into this iteration of the story.

He’s in search of the maiden who will hold command of the Golden Crystal and break the powerful gem’s seal. With two crystals in play–as Usagi’s Legendary Silver Crystal is in danger of being snatched by the Dead Moon Circus–and the universe hanging in the balance, our Sailor Guardians are in for a high stakes battle the likes of which they’ve yet to encounter.
