Impractical Jokers is one of the most successful TV comedy series, currently in the middle of its ninth season on TruTV. But not everyone gets TruTV—and there are over 200 episodes for people to catch up on!

For the uninitiated, the series features comedians Brian “Q” Quinn, Sal Vulcano, Joe Gatto and James “Murr” Murray (the troupe known as The Tenderloins) as they participate in hidden-camera challenges. The person who loses the most challenges is punished at the end of each episode, so the points do matter.

The challenges range from “do and say what you’re told” in a mundane situation like working the checkout at a grocery store, to pitching outlandish fake products, to trying to convince strangers that a bizarre email is ready to send. It’s the funniest thing on TV, so can you watch Impractical Jokers on Netflix?

Is Impractical Jokers on Netflix?

Netflix users may recall that there was at least one season of Impractical Jokers on Netflix in the recent past. However, the show has since been removed from the streaming platform, and there’s no indication that it’s going to be coming back.

So if it was on your watch list, you’re not seeing things—the show really isn’t there anymore.

Why isn’t Impractical Jokers on Netflix?

This is a classic rights issue. TruTV, which airs the show, is part of WarnerMedia, which also owns HBO Max. So when WarnerMedia launched HBO Max, Impractical Jokers moved to that streaming service. Right now, that’s the only place where you can stream any of the episodes, as well as the movie which came out in 2020.

Where to stream Impractical Jokers

As mentioned above, HBO Max is your sole streaming source for anything Jokers related. The app does sometimes offer a free trial, though, so keep an eye out for that.

You can purchase episodes or full seasons through the usual suspects: iTunes, Amazon Video, or YouTube. The same goes for the movie, which can also be rented on iTunes. But if you’re looking to stream for free, it won’t be on Netflix and probably won’t be there for quite a while.

The third option, if you have cable, is just to catch episodes in reruns. TruTV repeats Impractical Jokers almost every day, often in hours-long marathon blocks, so it’s pretty easy to catch up on the show there. That almost makes up for not having Impractical Jokers on Netflix!
