The Mitchells vs the Machines is coming to Netflix tonight: April 30, 2021

The Mitchells vs. the Machines is a Sony production that Netflix purchased in January 2021 which will be coming to Netflix on April 30, 2021.
This film finds the average dysfunctional family, the Mitchells, pit up against robots trying to take over the world. It is an animated film that is fun for the whole family. The Mitchells vs. the Machines takes a look at our obsession with technology and that family time is often interrupted by our need to be constantly plugged in.
The film has an all-star cast that includes Abbi Jacobson, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Eric Andre, Fred Armisen, Beck Bennett, Conan O’Brien, Charlyne Yi, Sasheer Zamata, Mike Rianda and Olivia Colman.
Jacobsen plays the daughter Katie, who is counting down to the day she leaves home for college. Her father, Rick (McBride), tries to do whatever he can to connect with his daughter. He feels taking a family road trip to drop her off at college is a fantastic way to do this. Katie, Rick, his wife Linda (Rudolph) and their son Aaron (Mike Rianda) pack up and head off on the adventure. Little do they know they will be tasked with saving the world.

This fun for the family animated series will release on April 30 at 12:01 am PST (3:01 am EST). Now, that probably isn’t a great time for some family bonding while watching a new film. So, be sure to add this one to your queue for viewing at a more reasonable time.
