Selena: The Series Part 2 on Netflix is highly anticipated by fans of Selena Quintanilla. She was a musical icon whose life was cut short when her fan club president murdered her. But during her career, she made a huge impact in the music world. The second part of the first season will be available on Netflix on May 4, 2021.

Selena is played by Christian Serratos, who looks amazing in this series. She wears Selena’s iconic outfits with flair, and at first glance, you would swear she is Selena.

The question of whether the series will focus on the late singer’s death was answered by Natasha Perez, who portrays Yolanda Saldivar, the woman who killed Selena. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Perez commented that the series is a celebration of Selena’s life. Saldivar is there to add tension, but the story is about Selena’s beautiful legacy.

“Unfortunately, Yolanda is a part of Selena’s tragic story,” the actress said. “But the beauty of it all is how her legacy continues until today through her music, her art, and really, her whole life.”
