Is Young Sheldon on Netflix?

The spinoff prequel series Young Sheldon has become a big hit with viewers, and many subscribers are more than curious to find out of the sitcom is among the new releases available on Netflix.

The TV show focuses on Sheldon Cooper, the character from the hit series The Big Bang Theory, but this time he is a nine-year-old genius living in east texas attending high school. Set in the late 1980s and early 1990s, the show stars Iain Armitage playing the younger version of Jim Parsons’ Big Bang persona.

The cast also consists of Zoe Perry, Lance Barber, Montant Jordan, Reagan Revord, Wallace Shawn, and Parsons as well amongst many other talented individuals. Young Sheldon has been a ratings hit, earning several nominations and amassing a large fan base.

After four seasons, it’s become evidently clear that Young Sheldon is one of the most-watched shows on television tod ays. that shows little signs of slowing down. In March 2021, CBS renewed the series for a fifth, sixth and seventh season, making it pretty understandable why so many fans that pledge their allegiance to Netflix would wonder if the show is available within its library.

Is Young Sheldon available on Netflix?

It doesn’t take a genius-level IQ to hypothesize the exuberant amount of sorrow subscribers will feel when they come to terms with the realization as to whether or not the well-received period sitcom is available on the streaming service. Young Sheldon is not on Netflix.

But fans shouldn’t get too upset as there are plenty of other sitcoms available on the streaming service. Titles like The Good Place, Arrested Development, Kim’s Convenience, Space Force, Arrested Development, The Crew, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and more are just streaming now on Netflix.
