Is Jack from The Circle related to Cousin Greg actor Nicholas Braun from Succession?

If you’ve been keeping up with The Circle season 2, chances are you’ve had some strong opinions about the contestants. Whether you love or hate Too Hot to Handle alum Chloe for her loud and bold ways (I love her, by the way), or scream at your television whenever someone calls Trevor genuine or real, it’s hard not to get fully invested in this competition series. And now that we’re entering Week 3 of the season, we still really don’t know what to expect.

As viewers all know, this season has brought upon a few twists and turns, with the latest big moment from Week 2 being that two blocked contestants are getting to stay, teaming up together to create one mega-catfish. Surprised? Same here. Those two cast members would be Jack, who was catfishing as Emily, and Lisa, who was pretending to be Lance Bass.

And if you’re a fan of the award-winning HBO show Succession, you might have noticed something about Jack from The Circle. He holds a glaring resemblance to one of the show’s stars.

You’re never going to be able to unsee this. Jack not only looks just like Nicholas Braun, who plays the lovable and goofy Greg Hirsch on Succession, but he also has super similar mannerisms as the character. If you’re wondering if there’s a reason for that, it actually doesn’t appear to be the case. After some investigating, it doesn’t look like Jack and the actor are related.

Jack’s last name is Atkins, and he’s from Chicago, Illinois. The Succession star is originally from New York and went to school in Massachusetts. There is no evidence on Jack’s Instagram page that he’s related to the actor, and we couldn’t find any reason to believe they even know each other at all.

As Nicholas Braun is very active on social media, I can’t help but wonder if he’ll ever react to the comparisons on his Instagram page. That would be hilarious, so fingers crossed he does! And in the meantime, enjoy some of Cousin Greg’s best moments from Succession below.
