When is the Colton Underwood Netflix show being released?
By Diana Nosa
Season 23 Bachelor lead Colton Underwood recently came out as gay during an interview with Good Morning America and since his announcement, Underwood has received tons of support and love.
During his interview, he stated that he “came to terms earlier this year and have been processing it. And the next step in all of this was sort of letting people know,” and letting everyone know is definitely his next step as he recently partnered up with Netflix to document his journey.
The upcoming series is said to be unscripted and would have multiple episodes that document Underwood’s life as a recently out gay man.
Additionally, the series is said to be currently in production and we’re here to give you all the latest on when you can expect the show to release.
Colton Underwood Netflix show release date
As of right now, there is no official release date for the show as it was announced fairly recently, but we wonder if there may be any release date at all with all the controversy surrounding Underwood’s upcoming original series.
There is currently a petition underway that asks for Netflix to reconsider its decision to give Colton Underwood a series due to his “abusive, manipulative, and dangerous behavior” in the past where he “stalked” Bachelor finalist Cassie Randolph as well as “placed a tracker on her car.”
Underwood has since apologized to Randolph for his behavior, but fans of the streaming platform simply aren’t having it.
The petition is quickly approaching its 35,000 signature goal with there currently being over 25,000 signatures.
Netflix has yet to release any comment surrounding the petition, but it seems that a statement may be made in the near future as the demand is slowly making its way to other major social media platforms.
However, once Netflix issues a statement or a release date, we will be sure to tell you all about it.
