A new week is here and April is only a few days away! Apparently, time is imaginary. But beyond the arrival of April, this week also brings a ton of new movies and shows to Netflix. It doesn’t matter if you’re looking for a classic rom-com/female-empowerment movie, an urban cowboy film, or a limited series about a famous killer, Netflix has something for everyone this week.

Get your pink outfit, your bend-and-snap, and your law degree ready because Legally Blonde is coming to Netflix on Thursday, April 1. The 2001 Reese Witherspoon film follows Elle Woods, a sorority girl who, after her boyfriend dumps her, follows him to Harvard Law School. While there, she shows the world she is much more than just her looks. She is smart AF.

More in the mood for a drama? Concrete Cowboy starring Idris Elba, Caleb McLaughlin, Lorraine Toussaint, and Method Man is coming to Netflix on Friday, April 2. The film follows Cole, a teenager who discovers the world of urban horseback riding when he goes to live with his estranged father in Philidelphia. This looks really good!

Looking for a murder series? The Serpent hits Netflix on Friday, April 2. The limited series stars Tahar Rahim,  Jenna Coleman, Billy Howie, Ellie Bamber, Mathilde Warner, and Tim McInnerny.

Concrete Cowboy, Legally Blonde and The Serpent coming to Netflix this week

The show tells the story of real-life murderer, thief, and con man, Charles Sobhraj. He hides in the shadows killing Western tourists on Southeast Asia’s Hippie Trails in the 1970s. He became known as (you guessed it) The Serpent.

This week also brings season 2 of Prank Encounters with Stranger Things‘s Gaten Matarazzo and season 1 of Worn Stories, a docuseries about meaningful items of clothing. They both hit Netflix on Thursday, April 1.
