What is the funniest prank from Bad Trip?

8. Trina Jacks the Cop Car

Trina asks a cop for the whereabouts of Bud and Chris, but they can’t help her, so she decides to break into and steal the cop’s car in broad daylight. Highlights from this prank include a lady who laughs at Trina’s clear intention to steal the car, then recoil in horror when Trina actually does it; and a hilariously delighted white man, who apparently just wants to watch the world burn.

7. Smoothie Shop

Chris is working at a smoothie shop when Maria walks in a year after their first missed encounter at the car wash. This prank comes off as a cut directly from the writers of The Eric Andre Show, with Andre getting on the customers’ nerves by using his bare hands with the food, prioritizing his own needs before the customers, and mindlessly chopping his hand up in a blender. Hearing Andre’s signature unbridled scream never gets old.

6. I Just Met a Girl Named Maria

An interaction between Chris and a random man on a bench evolves into a full-blown musical number in which Chris sings about his desire to be with Maria. It’s one of the few moments in Bad Trip that isn’t laughing at the unsuspecting public, and it’s quite a pleasant respite of choreographed flash mob action in the middle of a wild movie.

5. On the Roof

Trina finally runs Chris down on top of a roof above some people getting food from a food truck. It’s the best group interaction with the actors, as some of them are proffered to get on a megaphone and talk Trina out of killing Chris right before their eyes. Immensely quotable and representative of stellar improv work, the roof prank is Netflix’s most marketable moment in the movie for a reason.
