Since we just covered that Saoirse Ronan hasn’t starred in any Netflix projects yet, why not take a look at her Ammonite co-star, Kate Winslet? While the Academy Award-winning actress is featured in several movies currently available to watch on Netflix –– such as Steve Jobs, A Little Chaos, Triple 9 and Mary and the Witch’s Flower –– Winslet herself has not starred in any Netflix movies and currently doesn’t have any set for the future.

In fact, her latest project is for HBO, an upcoming limited series where she plays a small-town Pennsylvania detective called Mare of Easttown. After that, Winslet will lend her voice to a 2022 animated feature called Naya The Golden Dolphin Princess. She also has a starring role in the highly-anticipated Avatar sequel as a character named Ronal. As a highly in-demand actress with countless awards, it’s no surprise that Winslet has a full deck of films on the horizon.

She’ll also star in Lee as Elizabeth “Lee” Miller, a fashion model that became an acclaimed war correspondent for Vogue during WWII and another film called Fake! based on the OneCoin Ponzi scheme. It’s possible that Netflix could become the distributor on one of her films, therefore making it a “Netflix Original,” otherwise, she probably doesn’t have room in her schedule for anything additional right now.
