What is Parker on Netflix about?

There are so many great action movies offered on Netflix and I’m here to tell you about one of them. Adapted from the book Flashfire by Donald Westlake, Parker is currently #5 on the streaming platform’s Top 10 Most-Watched List.

Parker had its debut in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 24, 2013. It was released in theaters throughout the United States the following day.

Parker stars Jason Statham and Jennifer Lopez. The film also features the talents of Michael Chiklis, Wendell Pierce, Clifton Collins Jr., Bobby Cannavale, Patti LuPone, Carlos Carrasco, Micah Hauptman, Emma Booth, Nick Nolte, Daniel Bernhardt, Billy Slaughter, Jon Eyez, and Carl J. Walker.

Parker plot

Set in Palm Beach, Florida, Parker stars Jason Statham as the titular character. Parker is a thief, but he has a code of honor: he won’t hurt or steal from anyone weak or innocent. However, his morals are put in jeopardy when he is tasked with performing a heist with a group of unsavory thieves. Parker ends up meeting a woman named Leslie Rodgers (Lopez) who helps him to get back at the robbers who wronged him. The film has a 118-minute run time. According to IMDb, the film is rated R for strong violence, language throughout, and brief sexual content/nudity.
