With nine seasons to its name, Suits had a solid run on USA from 2011 to 2019. As of late, the drama series once again finds itself in the spotlight likely in major part due to the beaming spotlight that’s currently fixed on Meghan Markle.

While she may not have stayed on the series to the bittersweet end, Markle’s stint on Suits was definitely memorable. If you’re unfamiliar with the hit series featuring the Duchess of Sussex, no sweat. There’s never a bad time to get into Suits and check out Meghan Markle’s acting chops, alongside the show’s talented and likable cast.

The series stars Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams in leading roles and also featured supporting roles from Rick Hoffman, Sarah Rafferty, Gina Torres, Amanda Schull, Dulé Hill, and Katherine Heigl throughout the course of its nine-season run. USA even produced the spinoff, titled Pearson, in 2019 based on Torres’ character, though it ran for a single season.

Here’s what you need to know about the drama series and where to watch it!

What is Suits about?

Rotten Tomatoes describes the show with:

"One of Manhattan’s top corporate lawyers (Gabriel Macht) sets out to recruit a new hotshot associate and hires the only guy that impresses him, a brilliant but unmotivated college dropout (Patrick J. Adams). Though he isn’t actually a lawyer, this legal prodigy has the book smarts of a Harvard law grad and the street smarts of a hustler. However, in order to serve justice and save their jobs, both these unconventional thinkers must continue the charade."

Is Suits available on Netflix?

Great news! On May 22, 2023, Netflix officially announced that the complete series of Suits will start streaming on Saturday, June 17. Eight seasons, comprising over 100 total episodes, will be available on Netflix beginning in June 2023.

In addition to Netflix, Suits is also available to watch on Amazon Prime Video and Peacock. It’s unknown whether the series will leave either of those platforms (it’s unlikely to leave Peacock since it’s produced and distributed by Universal), but keep a close watch if you’re wanting to binge-watch the full series.

If you’re eager to see more of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on Netflix in any capacity, the couple’s docuseries Harry & Meghan is available to stream right now. They also executive produced the seven-episode Netflix docuseries Live to Lead. Netflix previously inked a multi-year deal with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
