March is here again. I’ll leave it up to you whether that’s a good or a bad thing. But whatever your feelings about March being back with a vengeance, Netflix is here with a ton of new movies and shows to keep you entertained and distracted from the chaos of life.

Whether you’re looking for a new Netflix Original movie based on a book, a bunch of rom-coms, or a few Batman films, the streaming service has something for just about everyone this week.

Ready for Netflix’s next book-to-film adaptation? Moxie hits the streaming service on Wednesday, March 3. The film stars Hadley Robinson, Amy Poehler, Lauren Tsai, Alycia Pascual-Pena, Nico Hiraga, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Sydney Park.

It’s based on the novel of the same name by Jennifer Mathieu and is about Vivien, a teen girl inspired by her mom’s days as a Riot grrrl, who decides to change things up at her school. But the patriarchy does not change easily. Luckily, she has plenty of friends to help her along the way,

More in the mood for a little romance? You’re in luck because there are quite a few rom-coms coming this week. Crazy, Stupid, Love, Nights in Rodanthe, and Two Weeks Notice all hit Netflix on Monday, March 1 while Safe Haven will be available to watch on Wednesday, March 3.

Crazy, Stupid, Love has a ridiculously star-studded cast of Steve Carrell, Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, Kevin Bacon, Julianne Moore, Analeigh Tipton, and Marisa Tomei. It follows a middle-aged man looking for love with the help of a sort-of pick-up artist, but the whole thing turns on its head when the pick-up artist falls for the man’s daughter.

Two Weeks Notice has an equally star-studded cast! Rom-com king and queen Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock star in this movie about a lawyer who realizes she is more like a nanny/assistant to her boss. Tired of being treated so poorly, she walks out leaving him wondering how he could ever live without her.

Looking for something a little darker? Both Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are coming to Netflix on Monday, March 1. The first two films in Christopher Nolan’s trilogy of Batman films are some of the best in the superhero genre and definitely worth a watch if for no other reason than to see Heath Ledger expertly play The Joker.
