Ginny dislikes who her mother, Georgia, is. However, by the end of Ginny and Georgia season 1, it looks like Ginny is becoming Georgia, and by choice!

There are a lot of questions after the way Ginny and Georgia season 1 ending. That major cliffhanger means we need a second season. Whether we’ll get it or not is another thing, but this isn’t about that just yet.

We need to breakdown the events of the first season. Did Georgia kill her husband? Is Ginny becoming the woman she doesn’t want to be like?

Let’s get into the Ginny and Georgia season 1 ending.

Did Georgia kill her husband on Ginny and Georgia season 1?

The big question of the season was all about Georgia. We found out her previous husband died under some mysterious circumstances. Was it possible that Georgia killed him?

Oh yes! Georgia did kill Kenny, not that I blame her.

Georgia found out Kenny had groped Ginny and Mama Bear stepped in. She got rid of her vile husband permanently and took his fortune.

You see, Georgia will do whatever she can to protect her two children. And Kenny is definitely not the only man she’s killed.

As she gets away with Kenny’s murder (for now?), PI Gabriel Cordova (Alex Mallari, Jr.) finds out that there was a man before all this. Georgia’s first husband is missing.

Georgia’s secrets are sure to catch up on her at some point, but it didn’t happen fully by the end of season 1. The Mama Bear has another problem to deal with.

Is Ginny becoming like her mother?

At the end of the finale, Ginny put on Georgia’s biker jacket and hopped on the motorbike with her young brother. They rode off in the middle of the night.

Throughout the first season, we watched Ginny slowly turn into her confident mom. At first, it was all subconscious, but over time, we watched Ginny make life choices that her mother would have done.

Ginny has had a taste of popularity and power. She wants more, but loses her friends by the end of the season.

Then there’s the fact that she covered for her mom when the PI turned up and told Ginny everything about Kenny. Ginny is angry at Georgia, but it’s clear that she doesn’t want her mother being arrested for murder. And maybe she doesn’t blame Georgia for killing Kenny anyway.

However, she has also inherited the running-away-from-problems trope. Ginny will do anything to protect her brother, and after Georgia pulled a gun on her, Ginny believes the best option is to run away and start afresh.

Where is Ginny going in the Ginny and Georgia finale?

At 15, Ginny doesn’t have a lot of options. She’ll need help from someone, a person to help put a roof over her head.

We don’t get to know where Ginny is taking her brother at the end of the season. There is one main theory, though. Will she ride to Boston to her dad? That certainly makes the most sense, and it’s not like it’s too long of a ride.

Of course, Georgia would look there first, but Ginny’s dad should want to protect her and her little brother. That is if he isn’t in on some of the scams Georgia has run over the years.

There is no need to be concerned about potential storylines for Ginny and Georgia season 2. There’s plenty of material still there to work with.

Ginny and Georgia season 1 is currently streaming on Netflix.
