The Wire has been regarded as one of the best crime TV shows to release in recent decades, and many subscribers are curious to know if the series from creator David Simon is available on Netflix. Unfortunately, it isn't. It's available to stream on Max instead.

But it's not available to watch on Max for free. You'll need to be subscribed to the streaming service to be granted access to the show. Max offers three subscription plans: With Ads, Ad-Free, and Ultimate Ad-Free. For each plan, you can choose either a monthly or yearly subscription. It doesn't matter which subscription plan you choose because they will all allow you to watch The Wire. It's up to you.
