Let’s get the list started with one of the most popular dating shows on Netflix, Love is Blind.
Dating shows on Netflix: Love is Blind
Netflix’s Love is Blind premiered last year in February. It quickly managed to become a fan-favorite only weeks before the coronavirus pandemic and then as people were locking down, they were quarantining themselves with their favorite comfort food and this quirky show.
Love is Blind is a social experience where contestants of the opposite sex are put into separate “pods” and they date around for ten days— all without seeing each other’s faces. Contestants are allowed to propose to one another at any point during the ten days and if the feeling is reciprocated, they are able to meet in person. After that, they go on a lovely beach retreat and then they move in together.
The overarching question is answered on the wedding day: Is love blind?
While some contestants get flawlessly hitched, others are nothing short of cringe-worthy.

Dating shows on Netflix: Dating Around
Dating Around is another fun one! This dating show currently has two seasons on Netflix, and it features a diverse range of contestants; individuals from different racial backgrounds and those in the LGBTQ+ community.
Each episode has different participants. The show follows around one main person while they go on a series of dates. Some last longer than others. Dating Around sets up three potential date opportunities per dating contender; drinks, dinner and then an activity. At the end of the episode, the main contestant’s big choice is made.
Dating Around always keeps its audience on its toes! You never truly know who will be chosen for a second date— and it’s a fun game to place bets on.
