Who doesn’t want to be with someone who will dodge and fight assassins just to be with them? If that’s your thing, Mr. Right starring Sam Rockwell, Anna Kendrick, Tim Roth, Anson Mount, RZA, James Ransone, and Michael Eklund is definitely your movie.

The movie starts with Martha meeting a man she thinks is absolutely perfect. She just went through a painful breakup and is looking to get back out there so she’s pleasantly surprised by Francis Munch. Little does she know.

It doesn’t take her long to find out that he used to work for the CIA, used to be a mercenary, and used to be a hitman. Hey, nobody’s perfect, right? Ok, maybe this is one step too far.

While that at first deters her from wanting a relationship with him, since they do have real feelings for each other, she decides to stick with it (until he kills somebody in front of her. After that, she needs some space).

But while it may have started as a somewhat normal relationship, that soon changes when they have to rescue each other from the men coming after Francis because of actions in his past.

This movie works because Martha isn’t the damsel in distress. She may start that way but by the end, she is killing and fighting people too. It’s a match made in heaven, or maybe hell.

If you and your special someone are action fanatics, this is the perfect romance for you. There are guns, tons of fights, knives, and of course, plenty of love.
