We come to a relationship that I admittedly loved when I was young, but I have grown up to realize just how toxic this relationship was. We tend to romanticize things when we’re younger, but I am glad that, in the end, Buffy realized that she was better off alone.

During the fifth season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Spike realized he was in love with Buffy. It started off relatively good, despite him not even having a soul. It wasn’t until the sixth season that we could see how they could be good together.

However, Buffy wasn’t in the right place to even start a relationship. He preyed on that, not really caring that she wasn’t in a good place.

And then THAT scene happened.

When Buffy turned Spike down, he attempted to rape her. While Buffy did still have some sort of connection to him, especially after he got his soul back, she never went back to him properly.

TV couples like Spike and Buffy really should just be canceled.

You TV couples: Love and Joe

We get the first official Netflix series on the list, and I think everyone can agree that this is one of those TV couples that just shouldn’t happen. Both individuals have everything wrong with them.

Although, sometimes, maybe Joe deserves what he’s getting after everything he’s done. However, that doesn’t stop just how terrible Love is. And the two of them could end up egging each other on when it comes to their toxic personalities.

The worst part of their relationship is they’re bringing a baby into this world. That baby needs to be taken straight off them and handed to someone who cares deeply, otherwise the child is going to be stuck in the middle and then model the parents.
