Buried by the Bernards

You’ve seen the front of the funeral service business. You may have been involved directly when burying a loved one or you may have just attended a funeral of someone you once knew.

Buried with the Bernards is about to show the other side of the business. This is a look at what goes on behind the business, including the picking up of bodies, the way the business runs, and much more.

Don’t expect the series to be all doom and gloom, though. The trailer makes it clear that there’s going to be plenty of laughter. This is more of a family dramedy than anything else as we follow the Bernards, who manage an unconventional Memphis funeral home.

Middle of Nowhere

Finally, it’s all about a movie that you should have watched years ago. Ava DuVernay both directed and wrote this 2012 heartfelt movie.

A woman drops out of medical school and heads out on a journey of self-discovery. It all starts when her husband is incarcerated. He doesn’t want her to give up everything, but she sees it as the only option.

But what happens when she meets someone else? Can she remain committed to the man behind bars or will she end up giving up on him for a new and potentially happier life? It’s a gripping story of love, compassion, anger, and fear.
